GotCourts - Credit Card Payment

From August 1st, 2022 we will change GotCourts, so that all chargable bookings will have to be made by credit card in the future. The "pay by invoice" option (or "process by attachment" as it is called in GotCourts jargon) will then no longer be available. This applies to guest bookings in summer and spontaneous bookings and guest fees in winter. The winter indoor subscriptions will continue to be processed by invoice or bank transfer.

In order to use the credit card function when making a booking, it is necessary for you to deposit the "means of payment", i.e. the credit card data, in the GotCourts app. You do this in the GotCourts app on your mobile phone or on the GotCourts website on your computer. As soon as you have registered one or more credit cards in the app, you can use them for a chargeable booking, which works as usual. Payment is made under the highest security standards including "3D Secure" or "Strong Consumer Authentication". For this purpose, GotCourts works together with the renowned payment service provider Stripe. Your sensitive payment data will only be processed by Stripe for this purpose. For example, GotCourts does not store your credit card details.

We decided to take this step because it significantly reduces the administrative burden for us and because we can assume that almost everyone has a Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card, since all banks and the Postfinance have switched their giro cards on Visa and Mastercard. The payment fee of payments will be borne by the tennis club, so that there will not be further costs for the members.

So, register the card in GotCourts right away, so that it works when you need it.

Sport Restaurant

The restaurant on the sports facilities reopened on June 7, 2022. This is the good news.

The bad news are the opening hours, which were fixed by the new company and Novartis: Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Unfortunately, the tennis club and the sports club could not get the restaurant to be open in the evening, on at least three days. The board is not satisfied with this solution, which is very bad for the athletes, and we will continue to try to find a better solution. However, this is not realistic in the next few weeks. The restaurant will be open in the future for events such as the Interclub or the whitsun cup. Nevertheless, visit the restaurant if you have time, it has been renovated and the offer is also interesting. Especially the quality seems to be good. Please note that at the moment it is only possible to pay in euros and of course by credit card. We still try to influence the prices, beer for example, which is not cheap at all.

 

 

It’s party time

We are very happy to start a modernized new edition of the traditional tennis ball with "It's party time". SAVE THE DATE – November 11, 2022, from 6:30 p.m., Restaurant

Ball machine

Finally the time has come. After extensive evaluation and testing, we ordered the Lobster Elite Grand 5LE ball machine. Soon, it will be possible to use it on courts 7 and 8 for a small fee.
