Annual General Meeting

76th annual general meeting (AGM) of the TC Novartis Basel

Due to the current corona pandemic and the associated restrictions (restaurant, group size, etc.), the board has decided to hold the next ordinary general meeting in writing in 2021. We are aware that there will be no discussion in the plenary session or a presentation like at the anniversary general meeting this year. But everyone's health is important to us and so everyone can take part in the AGM or vote without any worries. According to the statutes, the AGM must be held in the 1st quarter of the year.

The following data are relevant:

• Applications from members must be submitted to the president by January 31, 2021:  E-Mail: stebler-wasi@gmx.ch or
                                  by post: Walter Stebler, Akazienweg 3, 4313 Möhlin
• All documents (agenda, reports, voting forms, etc.) will be sent with the 1st dispatch in 2021 (2.3.2021). Detailed information regarding the voting mode is enclosed.
• You must vote by March 24th, 2021.
• On March 26th, 2021 there will be a mini-general meeting with 3 board members and 2 neutral persons (members) to carry out the evaluation.
• The members will be informed from March 29th, 2021.

Annual program 2021

The annual program includes activities for the anniversary year 2020 (50th Whitsun Cup, It's party time) as well as proven events. We hope that the coming year will bring us better conditions again and that the events can be held as planned.

Game Operations

What's next?

At the end of November, the French authorities relaxed the regulations slightly. We hope that if the development continues and there is no setback over Christmas, indoor tennis will be fully permitted again during January. The milestone for this is January 20, 2021, on which the next major announcement by the French Government is pending.
So you shouldn't put the tennis shoes away too far. The Corona committee is following the news with great interest and will keep you up to date via our website and, if necessary, by e-mail. Because as soon as we are allowed to (play again tennis), we also want to be able to.

SportCloud Restaurant

The contract with the provider (ZFV) has not been extended by Novartis management. Novartis will renovate the restaurant with a focus on more meetings and correspondingly more sales. The tennis club has put the needs in writing and so we can hope that a satisfactory solution will emerge for us with the new management.
Hopefully more concrete facts will be known at the next information dispatch.

Licence

If you don’t need a license in 2021 anymore, you have to cancel it. If you don’t cancel by February 15, 2021, we will send you an invoice for the license for the year 2021.

Administration

Despite the postponement of the AGM, we will send out the annual invoice in mid-February. Please note that those born in 2003 will pay the junior fee for the last time. If you do not intend to renew your membership, we ask you to notify us of your discharge by December 31, 2020 (possible by e-mail as well). Please send the photo ID internally to “Tennis Club Novartis, WSJ-391” or by post to “Tennis Club Novartis Basel, WSJ-391, PO Box, 4002 Basel”. Please check your private address on Fairgate and change it yourself in the system or inform us.
